ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ Honor Code

ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ works to ensure that quiz bowl is a safe, welcoming, fair, and respectful activity for everyone and expects all participants to do the same.

We have introduced an Honor Code that governs participation in all tournaments using ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ questions (regardless of whether they use ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ gameplay rules). It applies to players, coaches, chaperones, institutional representatives, other people associated with a team, spectators, and tournament staff. All of these people are responsible for knowing, understanding, and following the Honor Code. We also encourage reporting possible misconduct that takes place outside of ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ tournaments.

Barrington Wins the 2024 HSNCT

Congratulations to Barrington High School (Barrington, Illinois) for winning the 2024 High School National Championship Tournament! St. Mark's School of Texas (Dallas, Texas) was second; Livingston High School (Livingston, New Jersey) was third; Buffalo Grove High School (Buffalo Grove, Illinois) was fourth. 320 teams competed.

River Trail Wins the 2024 MSNCT

Congratulations to River Trail Middle School (Johns Creek, Georgia) for winning the 2024 ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ Middle School National Championship Tournament! Sycamore School (Indianapolis, Indiana) was second; William Hopkins Middle School (Fremont, California) was third; and Winston Churchill Middle School (Carmichael, California) was fourth. 160 teams competed.

Hastings, St. Mark's School of Texas, and West Iron County Win SSNCT Titles

Congratulations to the champions of the 2024 Small School National Championship Tournament! Hastings (Hastings-on-Hudson, New York) won the championship in the Traditional Public Schools Division. West Iron County (Iron River, Michigan) was our Very Small School champion. St. Mark's School of Texas (Dallas) won the title in the Open Division.

Ali Hamzeh Wins IPNCT Title

Congratulations to Ali Hamzeh (Kinkaid School, Houston, Texas) for winning the 2024 ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ Individual Player National Championship Tournament!

Chicago, Cornell, and Waterloo Win ICT Titles

Chicago A went undefeated to claim the Division I Overall title at the 2024 ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ Intercollegiate Championship Tournament. Cornell A defeated Georgia Tech to win the Division I Undergraduate title. Waterloo B claimed the Division II championship with a win over Columbia B.

Congratulations to all of these teams and the 59 others who represented the finest in collegiate quiz bowl!

Chipola Wins the 2024 Community College Championship Tournament

Chipola College (Marianna, Florida) won the 2024 ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ Community College Championship Tournament. Southern Union State Community College (Wadley, Alabama) finished second. Murray State College (Tishomingo, Oklahoma) placed third; Redlands Community College (El Reno, Oklahoma) claimed fourth place. The top four finishers earned invitations to compete at ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ's Intercollegiate Championship Tournament in April.
